Our full range of infra-red temperature sensors allows contact free temperature measurements which may be required typically for tyres.

Thanks to their reduced dimensions, the 2 types of boxes, M12 or Bloc T, allow easy installation of your application. The built-in electronics will make your work simpler.

We recommend to our customers that they clean the infra-red sensor lenses with alcohol every day, this is particularly important for measurements carried out on tires.

This Texense IRN2 miniature digital infrared allows contact free temperature measurement of objects several centimetres away by detecting the infrared rays emitted by these objects.Its reduced dimensions allow it to be integrated into production equipment or systems.

It operates independently with an analogue output.

The emissivity may be adjusted by programming the product via a USB cable. Excellent precision for the 150°C and 300°C and 1000°C ranges with values in the region of 0.3% of the full scale. The output signal is perfectly linear.

MULTI CHANNEL CAN

IRN-RC

After a good success of our IRN8C, 8 channel infrared tire temperature sensor, Texys have worked for a while on a tire temperature sensor to work well with closed distance measurement and multi heads possibility.

The success of our IRN8C is well established in single seater applications as customer can install the sensors far from the tire.

Texys has been working on a multi channel sensor to match close distance installation, typically Le Mans, GT applications. Furthermore, its flexibility allows to measure the surface and bead temperature in a same time. This measurement is interesting especially in NASCAR.

This sensor is also perfectly suitable for testing applications as in automotive, military, aeronautic… markets.

IRN4 C

The Texense 4 channel infrared sensor is dedicated to Tyre Temperature Monitoring. This product is issued from our 8 channel technology and is dedicated to be mounted in more closer space than the IRN8 (for instance, in the front of a NASCAR car or on a motorcycle).

It allows to measure a line of 4 spots on a tyre width and therefore if installed at the correct distance will give the surface tyre temperature distribution.

The Texense IRN4, combining perfect accuracy at 200°C (± 1%FS) and good temperature compensation, is the ideal solution to measure surface tire temperature on the whole width in most severe conditions.

The quality of design, dimensions (31 x 11 x 17 mm) and weight with cable (only 15g) offer to the customer an easy installation. In addition to its compact size, the mounting distance between 50 and 400 mm could give a reading of total width between 40 and 304 mm in 260 milliseconds at 200°C.

This configuration means that the Texense IRN4 is the mix of technology and usability. On the side of innovation, the Texense infrared have evolved during the time for supply now a protection lens on the 8 channels infrared. The results are long life and reliable data. The Texense IRN4 is available on -20 to + 200°C range with a supply voltage between 6 and 16V.

IRN8 C

The Texense 8 channel infrared sensor is dedicated to Tyre Temperature Monitoring. That product was developed first for Formula1 application. It allows to measure a line of 8 spots on a tyre width and therefore if installed at the correct distance will give the surface tyre temperature distribution.

The Texense IRN8, combining perfect accuracy at 200°C (± 1%FS) and good temperature compensation, is the ideal solution to measure surface tire temperature on the whole width in most severe conditions. PHOTODIODE

IRDLF

This Texense IRDLF miniature infrared sensor allows contact free temperature measurement of objects several centimetres away by detecting the infrared rays emitted by these objects.Its reduced dimensions allow it to be integrated into production equipment or systems.

This advanced version of our former IRD2 IR sensor will allow you to measure temperatures on targets with a very low emissivity as on steel brake discs and with a very short response time: only 3ms.

It operates independently with an linear analog output. The digital output can be used to set the gain.

The emissivity may be adjusted by programming the product via a USB cable.
