Laser speed & length measurement

μSPEED systems are capable of measuring speed and length without contact to the moving material surface. The systems replace tactile measurement solutions as e.g. contact wheels, which tend to measurement errors caused by slippage, chatter, dirt buildā€up and day to day wear problems.

  • Length measurement at moving surfaces by laser velocimeter

Tactile Length Mesurement

Applications:

  • tactile length measurement by the use of contact wheels, rotary encoders, measurement wheels, cylinders, rollers or by crawlers
  • measurement of material, which can be measured by tactile means in applications without risk of slippage
  • measurement in applications with moderate material acceleration and material speed
  • combination with the calibrated counter MID/CNT is possible acc. MID 2014/32/EU (form. MID 2004/22/EG; calibration approval)
