Capacitive MEMS Accelerometers

Capacitive accelerometers are designed to measure motion, long duration transient events and low-frequency vibration. They provide high sensitivities at very low frequencies, down to DC, with outstanding temperature stability.
 

Silicon Designs MEMS capacitive accelerometer modules are low-cost, integrated, plug-and-play, precision measurement devices. They are available as 1-axis or 3-axis versions suitable for zero-to-medium frequency commercial and industrial applications, and particularly, where reliable performance, extremely low noise, and long-term stability are absolute requirements.

Each accelerometer module features a low-noise hermetic MEMS capacitive accelerometer housed within a rugged, epoxy sealed, anodized aluminum case. Onboard voltage regulation and an internal voltage reference eliminate the need for precision power supplies. The accelerometer modules are relatively insensitive to temperature changes and gradients.

Silicon Designs also designs and manufactures both commercial and inertial grade MEMS capacitive accelerometer chips for OEM, instrumentation, and test & measurement applications.
