Abet Technologies offer a wide range of ASTM, IEC, and JIS standards compliant solar simulators ranging from 150W to 3kW with one sun or greater illuminated field sizes from 50 x 50 mm to 350 x 350 mm. The direction of illumination, traditional down pointing, horizontal, or vertical up pointing can be specified at the time of ordering.

All Abet solar simulators are completely self-contained. The source, arc lamp power supply, control electronics, shutter, lamp, and optical compartment are housed in a single compact enclosure. A digital shutter timer allows internal or external control of the shutter. HEPA filtering assures a clean supply of cooling air into the optical compartment.

A number of spectral matching filters are available to add to all Abet full spectrum solar simulators. Full spectrum systems normally ship with a borosilicate condenser lens to minimize UV exposure. If UV output is required fused silica condensers can be substituted. Class AAA solar simulators are provided with certification of standards compliance for spectral match, temporal stability, and spatial uniformity.

Abet Technologies manufacturers also all the components necessary for complete PV-IV Measurement Systems.  Besides Solar Simulators Abet also provides Probe Stations that are designed for 4 wire metrology, include a temperature sensor for temperature monitoring and come temperature control ready with the addition of a recirculating cooler. Our line of stations range from those for more traditional top/bottom contact solar cells, to stations for multiple devices on a single substrate, and, multifunctional stations for DSSC glass sandwich cells. The size of cells, types of cells, and their contact geometries are what will dictate which probe station is required.
